Fees for Facilitating Wealth Management Relationships

Kochis Global does not provide any direct wealth management or investment advisory services to individuals. It will, however, facilitate establishing effective, long term wealth management and investment advisory relationships for wealthy individuals with ethical, resourceful, and durable firms. Kochis Global charges the individual, not the management/advisory firm, fees for this facilitation. The initial fee is paid in three installments,

The total initial fee is calculated as the greater of 40 basis points (.4%) of an individual's investment portfolio, or USD 20,000. As described above, this fee is payable as 20 basis points (or USD 10,000, if greater) at the commencement of the facilitation service, 10 basis points (or USD 5,000 if greater) at the engagement of a wealth management/advisory relationship, and a final 10 basis points (or USD 5,000, if greater) at the first anniversary of that engagement. Thereafter, the individual pays an ongoing fee to monitor the relationship, at an annual rate of 7.5 basis points (or USD 3750, if greater).

Kochis Global receives no compensation from the management/advisory firm for this ongoing relationship facilitation. This insures that Kochis Global only serves the interests of the individual looking to find an appropriate long term relationship for investment advice and management of his or her wealth. Tim Kochis is an equity principal, but not an employee or agent, of the leading wealth management firm, Aspiriant, www.aspiriant.com, which has several offices in the US. Often, Aspiriant may be the best choice for advisory and management services for individuals of substantial wealth. Consequently, if Kochis Global's facilitation service results in a relationship for an individual with Aspiriant, Tim Kochis would have a small, indirect interest in the value of that relationship as it may impact incremental Aspiriant dividends he receives or the incremental value of his Aspiriant equity. To alleviate the risk of a conflict of interest in such case, Kochis Global will waive the ongoing monitoring fee following the first anniversary of a relationship for the individual with Aspiriant. This will better insure that all parties in such case, the individual client, Aspiriant, and Kochis Global have a common interest in the wealth management/advisory relationship being successful over the long term.
