Mission: To increase access to expert financial advice and world-class investment opportunities by assisting firms to perfect their delivery of best in class wealth management services… on a reliably durable basis.

Business Focus: Drawing on more than 50 years of worldwide leadership in the wealth management profession and a long history of success directly in this business, Tim Kochis, with other expert collaborators as appropriate, provides advice, consultation, training, and connections for firms eager to achieve long-term competitive advantage. Tim also works with individuals seeking best available solutions for themselves and their families.

Kochis Global has vast experience in building wealth management firms' success in strategic planning, marketing and sales, competitive fee arrangements, effective staff compensation systems, and development and execution of client investment platforms. Tim's most frequently engaged services encompass optimizing organizational structure, management development and transitions, and the disposition of firm equity to achieve ownership succession.

Tim's career includes directly assisting thousands of wealthy individuals in the accumulation, growth, enjoyment, and disposition of wealth thru portfolio design, tax optimization, philanthropy, and life-time and estate wealth transfers. Now, for individuals seeking an advisor relationship to accomplish these objectives, Tim's knowledge of the profession worldwide gives him very broad insight into what to look for and where to find it.

Fees and Expenses for Consultations with Firms: Kochis Global charges competitive professional fees that are negotiated at the outset of the engagement. They may take the form of daily rates, project fees, hourly rates, or some combination based on the character of the services the client desires. Kochis Global observes a minimum total professional fee of $10,000 for new relationships, though some new and ongoing engagements can extend to several times that minimum number; a $20,000-30,000 total engagement fee is not uncommon. In cases where Mark Wilcox collaborates on an engagement, Highledge will negotiate its own competitive fee as a separate engagement.

Travel expenses are billed, at cost, for business class airfare, plus $750, per diem, per person for meals, lodging, and local transportation.

Fees for Facilitating Wealth Management Relationships for Individuals:  Kochis Global does not provide any direct wealth management or investment advisory services to individuals. It will, however, facilitate establishing effective, long term relationships for individuals with ethical, resourceful, and durable firms. Kochis Global charges the individual, not the advisory firm, fees for this facilitation. The fee is negotiated at the outset, but is paid in three installments designed to foster a durable relationship for the individual with the advisory firm that is chosen.

Kochis Global receives no compensation from the management/advisory firm. This insures that Kochis Global only serves the interests of the individual looking to find an appropriate long term relationship for management of his or her wealth.

Though one of the founders of Aspiriant, Tim Kochis is no longer an equity participant in the firm so would receive or accrue no economic benefit in the event that a Kochis Global client chooses to engage Aspiriant for this long term relationship.
